From its Broadway debut to its silver screen success, the musical Grease has funneled a non-toxic sound to audiences world-wide who continue to enjoy the sound of the fifties and a story about young love. In the hugely popular cinematic version of the late 70's, John Travolta and Olivia Newton John were the dynamic duo who drove the film's success. Their feisty duet "You're the One That I Want" climbed the charts to number 1 in 1978. The film's title track "Grease" also climbed to number one and propelled the soundtrack to phenomenal success - selling over 20 million copies worldwide. This episode of Behind the Movie explores the Grease phenomenon and includes interviews with the entire cast and crew as well as the original authors and producers.
