In the previous episode you were made to believe that Sam had a very final ending, in this episode she seems to get a far more unlikely episode.
The story was good, and was very much written for Sam, it had a very personal feel for her, the involvement of her generations past and present. It's the only real time we see her lose control, and she's very angry throughout.
Well acted, with Burton signing off in style, and Daragh O'Malley playing the sinister cop in some style.
I'm not totally crazy about the manner of Sam's departure, but maybe Burton had exhausted her time on the show. I'm so glad it became even more successful years later, how many said it would fail post Burton.
