I will miss this show

This was a good episode, but they should not have ended the series here, like this. It should have been in the morgue. Perhaps they thought there would be another season. I love this show. I wish it would have kept on going.

So sad to end here....

Such a strange way to end series. The previous episode would have been a MUCH better series finale....

This One Should Be HIgh on Your List of Bad Final Episodes
buddybradley-2266512 April 2020
The show had lost some realism already. The characters did everything except commit the crimes and were occasionally ready to be involved in that. Nightmare personal problems and rarely tended to their jobs. The final episode has them out at sea and in an airplane crash far from home. Silly personal interactions follow. The entire Boston medical examiner department at work far from Boston? The remains of everybody's bad script ideas collected for a final episode that leaves the show with a bad taste in your mouth.

How stupid can smart people be?
psmith-singleton18 November 2021
Only just watched this episode (In 2021). I am often amazed at how stupid the writers/directors/etc. Can be. Here is a bunch of very smart people who have survived a plane crash, relatively unscathed. All of them are going about with their jackets/parkas unzipped/open to the wind and cold. Only one has a head covering but all of them have hoods on their jackets and as doctors they should know that keeping their head covered saves body warmth. Presumably they have/had at least some personal luggage/gear with them. So, they should have gotten out extra clothing. Again more layers = more warmth.

I just found this episode and the series finale to be absolutely unreal.

I stopped watching "Crossing Jordan" after Damon Lindelof (a friend) stopped writing for it, so I never saw this episode. However, from the plot summary here I can see it must have alluded cutely to Damon's "Lost". When you pay close attention to popular works of fiction, you notice them all "talking to each other" like this.

Not much intelligence here

Warning: Spoilers
So the plane crashes and all the FBI folks die, also the pilots and only the morgue crew survives. Just some bruises, and maybe a fractured arm, but nothing serious. They have to survive the cold, so they don't strip the dead seaman, cause if they did, the seaman would be deader from the cold. Everybody is roaming around outside (while background implies heavy winds) with open jackets, no gloves, nothing to cover their heads. And two went up the hill in the middle of the night AND find their way back without any problems. Shortly after helicopters arrive straight to the crash side though the signal was said to not have worked. My eyes rolled so heavy for the whole episode it feels like whiplash.

Though one shouldn't complain about the last episode. The whole show was ridiculous from the beginning and never failed to be unrealistic in any episode at all.

I watched some (dubbed) episodes years ago and thought it was a refreshing show. Man was I wrong. But looking at the release date now I understand that I was at a terrible point in life and obviously didn't give it much attention. At least that would explain a lot.

I watched several shows over and over again. This one will not meet that criterium.
