Bruno and Florence are allowed to cheat on their vacation!
jotix1001 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
According to a women's magazine that Florence reads, about 69% of people on vacation take the opportunity to cheat on either husband, or wife, because usually those liaisons only last the time the couple is away from home.

To illustrate the point, the creators of what appears to be a film made expressly for television, take us along with this Parisian couple whose plans for an enjoyable time away from the hustle and bustle goes wrong as they prepare to take a crowded ferry that will take them to Corsica. Bruno, the husband, is exasperated when Florence suggests to stop at cousin Etienne's house for a few days, while looking to continue searching for the right place at the right price.

Alas, they seem to be stuck with their three children at their cousin's house that needs immediate improvement. Bruno, not being able to sleep gets lucky with Clare, a woman staying in a camping nearby. Same goes for Florence who meets a transplanted man who has decided to live the simple life among the sheep he tends. Bruno and Florence have their fun, and as they depart, happily, one may add, fit into the category indicated by the survey in the women's magazine.

Stephane Clavier directed the screenplay created by Jean-Luc Goossens. The story is predictable with situations that do not add anything new to this type of comedy. There is occasional laughter, mainly because of the presence of Stephane Freiss, whose Bruno fare best. He was seen in Clint Eastwood's "Hereafter", recently. Carole Richert plays Florence and Stephane DeGroot is Etienne.
