Don't even get me started on this one. I have so many memories just stemming from this one. how so? well, i grew up around the turn of the millennium, and around that time, there was a series we knew as "Pokemon" and it was ridiculously popular, and it was a way to make friends. Well, for everyone else. I got left out because my parents thought i would turn evil from Pokémon. how does Pokémon tie into this episode of McGee & Me? well, it's about being careful what you see when you go to a movie theatre or what you watch on TV.
In this one, Everyone's talking about the new "Night of the blood freaks" movie which nick's friends are all hyped to see, but nick's parents are less than enthusiastic, and don't want him to see what is presumably a movie for an older, more mature audience. When he loses his temper over not being able to see the movie, his dad grounds him.
Regardless, Nick wants to see the movie anyways, and gets a rude awakening when he does.
My parents loved this one, I personally hated it when I aged a little more because the moral sometimes covers a little more than it should, therefore bringing up the topic of censorship. If you want to censor certain things from your kids, that's OK, but don't censor everything. your children will eventually grow up and face things that are worse than a movie.
This topic is extremely controversial but i don't think McGee & me did it properly.
