Chicago – Carl Sondrol is on a huge winning streak. The musician, composer and soundtrack scorer for CollegeHumor.com is a vital part of the Webby Award winning shorts “Web Site Story” and “Pixar Intro Parody.” His work has also expanded into television, short films and feature films.
The Webby Awards will be given out Monday, June 14th, in New York City. Sondrol did the music and sound design for the winning shorts, even taking on the melodies and context of Leonard Bernstein’s “West Side Story.”

Former "Star Trek: Voyager" captain Kate Mulgrew has been cast on NBC's fall drama "Mercy."
Mulgrew will play Jeannie Flanagan, the mother of the show's lead, Veronica (Taylor Schilling). The series about a group of nurses and their relationships is in the vein of a less wacky "Grey's Anatomy."
She is repped by Innovative Artists and Lisa Loosemore.

Young actor Matthew Levy has joined Fox's upcoming series "Sons of Tuscon" as a series regular.
Levy will play Brandon Gunderson, the oldest of three brothers who hire a hustler (Tyler Labine) to act as their father while their biological father is in prison. The new single-camera comedy will premiere on Fox midseason and goes into production in mid-September.
Levy's credits include theatrical films "The Misinvention of Milo Weatherby" and "Farewell Darkness." He's repped by UTA.
