There are a couple of references to "Jeremy Bentham". He was an English philosopher (1748-1832) whose body was preserved and is on display at the University College, London. He was an early advocate of the abolition of slavery, equal rights for women and animal rights, all very radical for his time.
In The Other Woman (2008) Ben asks Locke, who has brought him some food while he was being held captive, if the rabbit he cooked "had a number on it". In the Orchid orientation video, the rabbit used for the time-traveling experiment had the number 15 on it.
