- Michael and the team have one day to locate the next cardholder or they risk going back to prison. Meanwhile, Mahone seeks revenge on Wyatt.
- In Los Angeles, Michael argues with Agent Self since there are six cards and not only one. The agent gives the rest of the day to find a second card holder; otherwise the project would be shutdown by The Powers That Be and the group would be sent to prison. Mahone calls Agent Lang in Gainesville, Florida, and asks her information about the death of his son. Lincoln overhears the conversation. Wyatt tortures Bruce with drugs; when he gets the information that Sara is in LA, he kills his victim. Agent Self meets Director Herb and ask him to call Senator Dalo to give more time to Michael and his crew, but Herb refuses. Roland discovers that his device has copied the PDA of Tuxhorn, and he notes that he received one e-mail from London and two others from a server in Anaheim. They use Sara to help Michael and Roland to break in the building where the server is located. Sara steals a security card, and when she is arrested by the security guard, Michael activates the fire alarm, but he is trapped with Roland in the server room without oxygen. Lincoln rescues them with an ax, and while checking the e-mails from the data copied by Roland, the computer freezes and they discover that the project has terminated. They try to escape but the GPS in their ankles give their position to Agent Self and his agents. They hijack a cab and Michael discovers the fives card holders in a meeting in a power plant in Newport Beach. Agent Self calls himself Senator Dalo and the project restarts, but with him isolated like an island and without the support of Herb. Meanwhile T-Bag deciphers part of Whistler's codes and contacts the Gate's executive White using the identity of Cole Pfeiffer. Lincoln promises Mahone to help him to capture the responsible for the death of his son.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- The show opens with Agent Self telling Michael that because the card they stole last episode is worthless without the other five pieces, they will only be granted their freedom if the entire Scylla is obtained. Mahone gets on the phone with a former FBI colleague asking for help finding out who killed his son, a conversation Lincoln hears the end of.
We next see Self getting lambasted by the director, who is fired-up to shut the mission down. The group effortlessly determines when the meeting with Scylla card No. 2 will take place, but must go to Anaheim so Glenn can hack into some emails and find out where.
T-Bag enters a spectacularly furnished apartment courtesy of the information found in the deposit box from the bird book, then shaves and recalls the many slights he's received at the hands of Michael. Wyatt has given Bennett some kind of trippy truth serum, but is still having no luck extracting the whereabouts of Michael and Lincoln. As Sarah tries to sneak into building with the main router, the director tells Self he is shutting the mission down.
Michael and Glenn sneak into the server room and the get the info they need. Sarah gets made however, and Michael is forced to pull a fire alarm which to protect the computers locks them in and starts removing all oxygen from the room. Lincoln is forced to walk into the building's front door with an ax and break open one of the windows. Bennett seems finally to be breaking at the hands of Wyatt, and as Sucre talks Bellick down from an idea to run to Mexico, the pair gets accosted by plain clothed officers of some sort.
Before he's grabbed Sucre sends Michael a text which reads: "run," and so he, Lincoln, Sarah and Mahone jump into an SUV and flee the warehouse just as a sedan pulls in. The chase is on, with Self in pursuit and telling Michael on a cell phone that the mission is over and they should give themselves up.
We get a snapshot scene of T-Bag on the phone trying to secure a commencement payment for a job mentioned in the deposit box information. Our chase is now on foot, and the foursome retreats to a tunnel in order to block their ankle bracelet signals. Using some random trash found on the wall in said tunnel (of course), Michael breaks the code from the email they found earlier in the server room.
They must leave the tunnel and head to Newport Beach, and steal a cab with Self on their tail. T-Bag finds out he must meet with a Mr. White the next morning to get his bonus and that the man he is impersonating is supposedly one of the top salesmen in the country.
The Company meeting the gang is headed to begins, with the two higher-ups from the premiere saying that the trial stage of their plan will begin in Laos. They arrive just as Self & Co. do, and Lincoln, Sara and Mahone are immediately taken into custody. Michael sneaks off (duh) and as we go to commercial is listening in on the Company meeting.
As all five non-Michael team members are being put into a van, Michael inexplicably pulls right up to Self in the cab. (What's he doing? We wonder.) Thankfully there is a method to Michael's madness, as he has recorded video of the meeting with a cell phone. He is therefore able to tell Self and us that not one, but all six card-holders were in attendance, which should make tracking down the full Scylla more realistic. Self promptly orders all six let go and sent back to the warehouse, then gets on the phone and goes above the director's head to get permission.
Wyatt gets Bennett to tell him Sarah is in Los Angeles, and then points his gun at the back of Bennett's head as the scene changes. Before heading into the warehouse, Mahone picks up an envelope with pictures about his son's murder and the information that his ex wife is in protective custody. Lincoln and Mahone seem to bond on this issue and as the episode goes black Lincoln promises to help Mahone find those responsible.
