- A river turning to "blood" (the first of the Ten Plagues in the Bible) when touched by Moe's stick is shown. However, the is called tomato juice by a side character.
- In an adaptation of Moses killing an Egyptian and burying the body in the sand, Moe throws a dodgeball and knocks a guard off a dock into a river below. The guard does not visibly die, as he swims up for air, but Moe is forced to flee as a fugitive.

- In the tenth plague (death of the firstborn) the river rises and carries away babies in cradles. This is dealt with like the serious topic it is, and the narrator makes it clear that the "mayor" (I.e., Pharaoh Ramses II) brought this on the town.
