- Season 16, episode 44. In front of Hilli Cornelius has to confess Laurenz his conspiracy with ally retail scout Jonas. Margret gets to feel Laurenz' annoyance. She makes Cornelius clear that she has trouble with her son now because of him. Merle gives Hilli the idea to have Frau Krause as assistant in the candy store. Frank comes late at home and hasn't time for his Hilli the next morning. Margret tries to talk with her son about the Jonas conspiracy but Laurenz is still not reasonable. Upper mayor Simone asks Gregor to intercept Gunter's objection to the municipal's decision. He refuses but Amelie calls Simone to take the deal over. Merle and Gunter catch her in his hotel office before she is able to confiscate the note of objection. Amelie talks with Gunter about her roof terrace idea. He gives her the objection in confidence and asks her to bring it to the town hall in person. When Gregor sees that she has the document he is sure that she does the job for Simone now. Christian needs 9,000 euro to pay for the carpenter equipment. He blames Britta for his money trouble. Amelie tells her mother Inken that she wants to give her exclusive handbag has pledge to the pawn broker. Christian is glad that his favorite sister helps him financially. Matthias accuses Anne of trying to manipulate their son Max by giving him a phone. She remembers an incident of child neglect in Costa Rica that could be used against him in the juridical row. Judge Thiele talks with Max face to face. Thiele informs Anne that the children are focused on their father Matthias who was always there for them while she followed her career path. Ben thinks that Carla should try crowd funding to finance the renovation of the monumental building. It seems to function via her culinary column on the internet.
