Realistic portrayal of farming across the east coast.
mthomasdoc9 June 2008
I saw this movie with the group Rochester Young Professionals. It was a fascinating and realistic portrayal of farming. I consider myself a fairly aware citizen but this movie opened my eyes to many things including why food in America is cheaper than anywhere else in the world. The style of the film was subtle and smart. Those are nice qualities to see in a documentary. Sometimes, documentaries can be overly confrontational and over wrought. The director of this film allowed the audience to come to their own understanding of the role of immigration in the farming industry.

Anyone who eats fruits, vegetables, meat products or anything that was once alive should see this film. It's an enlightening experience.
