Complex, confusing, and wonderful.

Everything about this show keeps you guessing. Every decision made makes you question the motives of the characters and direction of the story. I cannot wait to see how it all unfolds. All the baseless negative reviews complaining about the military depiction are missing the point of the story.

It's not good at all

Warning: Spoilers
It's like the directors and writers are trying really hard to be unique but it comes out bad. I am sorry but this series is just not as good as people want to pretend it is. It's extremely slow paced, there's really not cohesive story. You can not connect to any of the characters emotionally. Why? Well because the writers/directors chose to basically tell the "story" through random camera stills for long periods of times.

Italians writing about what they do not know about
dncorp20 October 2020
MINUS STARS

Italian Writer Francesca Manieri knows NOTHING about the U.S. Military, U.S. Military Dependents, U.S. Department Of Defense School System, U.S. Government (Election of U.S. President, see 2018 Documentary "Death of a Nation", 2020 Documentary "Plot Against the President"), and is interjecting her Italian Democratic National Socialist ideas (Propaganda) on the U.S. Public, same kind of ignorance of Writer, Director, Executive Producer Luca Guadagnion, as evident by the Fact that U.S. Military Personnel in accordance with the Status Of Forces Agreement with the Nation of Italy CANNOT go out and fire shotguns anytime or anywhere they want, even Italians cannot do that.

Italian Writer Paolo Giordano cannot understand why U.S. Military Parent must be strict, "Cannot Control Dependents, Cannot Lead U.S. Military Soldiers" is WHY, U.S. Military Parents must be strict or their U.S. Military Career is ended.

Actors Kid Cudi as LTC Richard Poythress, Chloë Sevigny as COL Sarah Wilson cannot understand why in the Real U.S. Army, Lieutenant Colonel Richard (Kid Cudi) would hate Colonel Sarah Wilson (Chloë Sevigny) has nothing to do with Woman, nor Gay, has to do with Earned Respect, Colonel Sarah Wilson is an Installation Command Bureaucrat "Manager" not a Leader does not have a U.S. Army Combat Patch at a 173rd Airborne (Airborne Infantry) Base, while Lieutenant Richard Poythress based on what he is wearing more than likely does have a Combat Patch more than likely while serving with the 173rd Airborne Infantry as a Leader. During the Wars at Iraq starting with the Iran Iraq Wars 1980 and Afghanistan starting 1979 U.S. Military especially the U.S. Army that did not do Combat Tours were thought of as REMFs, Rear End Mother F...., not worthy of any Respect, Promotions, or Retention of U.S. Military Service, while many Served multiple Combat Tours at Iraq, Afghanistan, other Armed Conflicts, etc. as doing more than their Fairshare. Having done more than my Fair share of Combat Tours before as an O-6, I KNOW why.

Italian Writers writing this nonsense would be like American Writers writing about the Italian Military with a "Formation" being a Platoon (of 60 Italian Soldiers) naked face down on top of each other with their male organ in the other males a hole, that's how much these Italian writers do not know anything.
