Actor James Gandolfini, perhaps best known for his role as Tony Soprano died June 19 in Italy. He was 51.
Gandolfini's managers Mark Armstrong and Nancy Sanders confirmed that the Golden Globe winner passed away while on holiday in Rome, Italy. Reports suggest that his death came after a possible heart attack.
"Our hearts are shattered and we will miss him deeply," Armstrong and Sanders said in a joint statement. "He and his family were part of our family for many years and we are all grieving."
HBO also released a statement, saying, "We're all in shock and feeling immeasurable sadness at the loss of a beloved member of our family. He was special man, a great talent, but more importantly a gentle and loving person who treated everyone no matter their title or position with equal respect. The 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards went down Sunday night (June 16), handing out trophies for the best dramas, talk shows, game shows and more. In addition to that, legendary game show host Monty Hall was given a Lifetime Achievement award.
"Days of Our Lives" took the award for Outstanding Drama, but "The Young and the Restless" and "The Bold and the Beautiful" couldn't be held back as they took more than one acting Emmy each.
"Price is Right" took for Emmy for best game show, but game show host was given to Ben Bailey, who hosts "Cash Cab."

Daytime television's elite gathered on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton for the 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Above all the night's festivities, one of the few surviving soap operas, The Bold and the Beautiful, won big.
The soap opera, which has been running since 1986, took home a total of four awards, including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (Heather Tom) Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama (Scott Clifton), Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team, and Outstanding Drama Series Directing Team.

Among the winners (listed below) was also George Lucas, who took home his very first Emmy for his animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
