The other person that wrote a review must have been confused due to the number of films and series with the same name. This is not an Australian show, and there is no sex at all. It certainly isn't awful either.
Instead, watch this mini-series about a number of people that are either refugees, or are trying to help them. We see them trying to cope with the boredom of the long wait for asylum. We see them struggling with the problems they face in their new home country.
The acting is rather good. The pace is slow, but that makes it more realistic. The biggest problem with the series is the fact that it tries to tell too many stories at once. This makes it harder to connect with the main characters. There are too many of them, and their issues are too far apart.
I would have preferred it if they had picked just two or three stories and had given these more time and background. It may have made it a lot better. Still, it is worth watching.
