Wimpy grows into a giant in Brutus's house. We see a shot of Brutus in the house, marveling at Wimpy. A moment later, Brutus is laughing maliciously outside his own window. Another moment passes and Brutus is back in the house.
The plate Wimpy eats the hamburgers off disappears between shots.
A shot of Wimpy is inserted into the middle of the sequence where Popeye walks down the street. Wimpy says, "I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today." We don't know where Wimpy is or to whom he's speaking. The shot is repeated in the last scene, and this time it's clear he's speaking to Popeye.
Brutus feeds Wimpy growth pills in order to turn him into a giant. He watches Wimpy and shouts "It's working! Wow!" before Wimpy grows an inch.
When the giant sized Wimpy is eating the giant-burgers at the circus, his left arm is bare for some reason.
The audio quality at times doesn't match up. When trying to make Wimpy normal-size again, Popeye says lines that sound completely different in tone.
The beginning of the episode makes no sense. First, Wimpy is shown standing next to Brutus' house. Then it randomly fades to Popeye walking down a street carrying flowers. We then cut back to Wimpy saying his "I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today" line to no one in particular. Then Popeye is shown walking through the town. And only then do we go back to Brutus' house where the episode's plot actually starts.
As Wimpy thanks Popeye in the last scene, Popeye's mouth is moving for no reason. Evidently, the sound technician tried to cover up the animators' mistake by adding faint sounds of Popeye laughing underneath Wimpy's dialogue.
When feeding the giant Wimpy, Brutus is constantly flapping his mouth but he only says a short line.
