In Episode 1, you'll learn about budgeting, packing, and best practices on the road. I talk about travelling on the cheap, mindset, and some of the challenges while road tripping.

The Black Hills holds many secrets except for what's carved into them. Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial loom over these mountains as we drift through the illegally established town of Deadwood, South Dakota. We find out about the origins of the cowboy, the Western as a cinema genre, what life was like on the Frontier, and what life is like now. Passing into Wyoming, we don't discover an alien beacon in the Devil's Tower but we do learn of its importance in American Indian heritage. I give more travel and camping hacks as we meet with two very SCARY close calls on the road trip.

A near scrape before the dog and I continue the road trip through Montana. Following the Yellowstone River as our guide, we discover the many facets of the waterways in the state. Instead of the Beartooth Highway, it's battle fields, hiking trails, dinosaur bones, and sapphire jewels that mark the way into the town of Bozeman, MT.
