Harrow's determination to prove Chester is still alive has been dragging for possibly two episodes too many but I'll bear with it as I want to see how it ends. The one big flaw in this episode is the hospital emergency. Chester wants to get in and finish the job of killing Cal, Cal being the one who could positively identify that Chester is alive. He achieves his aims by setting off an alarm at the hospital and all the staff are told to leave. Now, I have no knowledge of hospital procedure in this circumstance but I fail to see how the whole staff would just vacate the hospital leaving all the patients to fend for themselves. What if there had been a heart attack or in the middle of surgery, that's life (or death) but nevermind, we're safe and well.

It's not so much dragging Chester out... It's the idiot writers thinking that even the dumbest cop wouldn't see that all these things aren't just coincidences......did they not think that dental records could be swapped? Why only check the prison dental records??????
Lazy writing or the dumbest cops ever.... Worse than barney fife.... Even fife would be suspicious by now.
For most shows I have to suspend some disbelief..... This is getting beyond the point of science fiction...... I believe in using the force before I'd belive that any of this happened....

Too many coincidences and so many chances for the people closest to Harrow to believe him. You can't write that much...you are pushing it.
And you are losing the reality you need for a tv series by ignoring the fact that no one is asking about video footage, cctv, or anything. Out of ALL these place where ALL these incidents happened, there was no cameras or any of the characters asking about footage. They immediately say, we have no proof. Biitxx! You not even asking for any proof let alone looking for any.
I'm only keeping watch because I want Chester to get his and Maxine too!

The Overarching Plot

"... the Chester thing" is the underlying story of the whole season and has been bubbling away since the beginning. This is only the second episode when there hasn't also been an self-contained story unrelated to "... the Chester thing". The concentration on the main storyline in this episode brings things to a climax to be wrapped up in the season finale. [I'm guessing this last. Just about to watch the final episode of the season.]

The hospital emergency was the most idiotic event. .. I've never heard of a hospital emergency where staff evacuates and leaves patients to take care of themselves.... Don't leave the daughter alone... First thing daughter is running around town alone .... Way too many events for any of it to be a coincidence... Yet no one (people who have known him for years) believes him. The only one who believes him is the girl he has known for a month and a nurse who's known him a week.... Thanks friends!!! Emergency tribunal... No representation... No defense.. Detained on sight and sent to a mental hospital.... ludicrous!!! They took a pretty interesting season and the nonsense together. When they were shooting this did no one stop and say hey none of this makes sense???

There are many unreasonable things in the series, but the emergency evacuation in this episode is absurd. No staff takes care of the unconscious patient?? Like everybody just clear out of the floor?? The evacuation protocol of this hospital is to leave the patient to die? Also no cameras?
