Funny ha-ha
Brad_G3529 October 2019
There are some funny things here but it's all funny ha-ha moments in Arsenio fashion. There's nothing that makes me laugh uncontrollably that makes me have to pause the special.

Part of the problem is the audience. The laughter seems to be an exaggerated laugh-track like on sitcoms.

This is worth playing but most of it is forgettable. Arsenio is getting old... let's here some old man stories. Don't do the same topics unless you're going to take it to places that everyone else is scared to go.

Good laugh along

Good, imaginative show. He keeps you intrigued although it isn't necessarily constant laughs out loud material unfortunately. But still, worth a watch.

This was hard work

I was excited to see Arsenio had a special and couldn't wait to watch it. It just wasn't funny and I say that with disappointment, not to be critical.

Nice good laughs

Nice simple stand up from a veteran comedian. He's one of those classic, evergreen comedians from the golden age of comedians, just like Jerry Seinfeld and Eddie Murphy.

Warning: Spoilers
My husband and I laughed out loud while watching this during a flight. There were so many parts that I could relate to, I think I've become an Ashy Avenger. I hate that lotion clump. As I go about my daily routine, I find myself remembering a joke he told and laughing all over again. Honestly though, I'd cheer for a team that had Drake on the helmet.

Not Smart and Definitely not Classy

Warning: Spoilers
I laughed a little at the beginning of this but then just started laughing at what a white-washed republican this guy is. My amusement turned to disgust when he started making fun of little people and started a tirade that involved repeating the word 'midget' over and over. All it made me think about was how much more class people like Peter Dinklage have than this jerk. His political incorrectness is not like Dave Chappel's who is actually witty. He's just a dick pandering to ignorance.

didn't take long..

Didn't take long to start the evil white man retoric. seems to me that all Netflix want to do is continue the let's blame the evil white man. Arsenio Hall must really need a paycheck. but then again what should we expect from a company that handed the rain's to the Obamas... more and more of their programs are being racially loaded to stir and already stoked fire.

Disappointing all around

Arsenio delivers some crass, cliche jokes within the first few minutes in. I was excited for this for nostalgic reasons when what I got was a dose of vintage American stereotypes that need to die with the past. Was very surprised some of the content made it past the editing floor. Sad that some disrespectful racist humor still thrives.

Not Funny
Saracen789 September 2022
I think Arsenio has an old-school mentality and his jokes are pretty old and might've been funny in the early 90s.., I think he needs newer ideas. Most of his audience is younger and have never heard of him before Ali maybe seen some videos on YouTube. And also he needs to lay off the race topic as it is getting too old and too boring add he basically criticizes white people and makes it seem like they don't know anything while he doesn't know anything.

I think if he did a little bit more homework and some research for what's good nowadays as in relation to comedy but I think he thinks that his past is still remembered as being funny while he was never actually really funny he did do some good interviews though.

How Much Money Does A Professional Laugher Make ???
nebohr25 August 2020
Arsenio Hall...Yep he was there. He used to be known as a comedian. Smart...Noticeably absent. Classy...No way in hell. I have to admit that we could only suffer through about half of his "standup comedy" routine before we gave up on it. So maybe he did the "smart and classy" (and funny ?) material in the second half of the show.

Amazing: he was mistaken for Wesley Snipes! The drama and the comic of an old has been. I wonder why that never happened to anyone before.
