Still pretty bad but to me there are some bright spots
ubilstein9 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I think the new character Percy is actually a good character in my view. The acting of him is suprisingly pretty good. But his good acting shows how bad and unrealistic the main cast comes across in comparison. Silas is such a boring, unlikeable and bad character. And Iris flirting with Percy and basically telling her whole life story to a stranger felt so cringy and stupid. I liked the story of the ep at first, because I hoped the group had to do some tough calls and maybe kill someone. But nah, the epsiode goes down the drain towards the end and everybody is nice to each other. That's not what The Walking Dead is about.. I know that Im going to get downvotes for saying something remotely good about the episode, but kerp in mind that is just my view and Im still not enjoying the show really..

Better, compared to the other episodes

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is better but still not great. I cant stand Silas, they need to kill him off. Huck is awful too but she wasn't in this episode and that helped it. But most of all the new added characters were decent and made it better. The writing wasn't as bad and we didn't have any terrible flashbacks. So it was definitely the best episode of the season. I'm still basically watching for The CRM and tie in with Rick's movie.

A step in the right direction...
rmcgee-579229 November 2020
Finally what I've been waiting for in this show. Conflict. The kids actually get some experience with the biggest threat in this world, other people. The new characters were a nice addition (and pretty good actors) and there were some nice jump scares and a decent story. These kids are still too naive though, but I think that's the point. They're learning as they're out in the world. The only reason I can't score this higher is because the inexperience of the actor playing Silas REALLY shows. There were also some questionable moments with the actress playing Iris, but nowhere near as bad. Now if they can just ditch Silas, coach "Iris" a little, and fix Huck's accent then this show may be redeemable. Everything else is fine by me. Definitely the best episode of the series so far.

Decent
cruise019 November 2020
3 out of 5 stars.

The group comes across a young adult Percy. Who has a truck that they can all use. But a catch is they have to take back the truck that was stolen from him.

Entertaining. The script is still cliche with characters being dumb. Silas being annoying as ever. But some thrilling moments when they come across the undead.

So many terrible things about this episode
david-344411 November 2020
My god, the writing on this show is horrible. I thought Fear was bad after those idiot showrunners Chambliss and Goldberg took over, but World Beyond is making Fear look decent by comparison. All of the characters behave as if their brains have already been eaten, doing ridiculously stupid things in the most laughably contrived situations.

The dialogue is terrible. The acting is terrible. The plotting/narrative is simplistic, seemingly copied from bad 1970s shows. No attempt is made to make the story even vaguely realistic - how does Elton have an endless supply of film for his flimsy little camera 10 years into the zombie apocalypse?

We were promised lots of answers about the CRM in this series, but we get essentially nothing from episodes like this one. What we do get comes in the last two minutes of the episode in what is basically a stand-alone epilogue. Why are the writers unable to organically incorporate this plot into the actual body of the show?

The only things keeping me watching are these tiny snippets of information they toss out. Well, that and Nico Tortorella, who is too cute for words. Everything else about this show is not worth watching. The ratings reflect that.

CAN'T STOP LAUGHING
jreeders5189 November 2020
A month on the road and still everyone looks like they just emerged from a hot shower, Salon and Spa. Each week is a more ridiculous story line than the last. What is Gimple paying people to review these episodes as a 10? Are they kidding? Cancel now and bring back Mad Men.

Best part is Percy and his uncle. Makes the show 10x interesting. Secretly hoping iris gets eaten by an Empty or something but that's not going to happen is it.

Love the characters
kwuttke1366415 November 2020
I have been watching this show as well as the other two. I don't understsnd all the bad reviews. All three shows have a different twist on two themes ; how evil ppl are and a zombie apocalypse. I watch all 3 with different perspectives and think the shows are well done.

Better. Much Better.

Warning: Spoilers
And I know why! Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) is becoming a bonafied A-list director. I've enjoyed every episode across the TWD universe he's directed. They've definitely been the better ones. The writing is polishing out a little and I think doing that is making it so there is less screen time on the main actors - who were the big problem in the first place. A good director can ruin actors too. All of the annoying things about the main characters weren't in this episode compared to the first five. I suppose it's because we had two new characters who are great actors get introduced, conflict, and a good director not allowing the actors to speak in stupid soft spoken tones like they do on the CW.

I had figured out last episode my biggest frustration was with the two main teen actresses. They were the worst. They made dumb decisions. And I kept yelling at the tv to the adult male to just leave them and let them die.

Hopefully those days of yelling are over. The best parts are the ending bonus scenes of the CRM. Best part of this show is finding out about the place that took Rick.

The most boring show ever
fruizj789 November 2020
Dont waste your time, fast forward your DVR to the last 5 minutes of the show to see what happened. Terrible acting, mindless writing. Every episode is slower and more boring than the previous. Alexa Monsour is the worse actress on the planet.

They trolling us
iamlegend-4456010 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Rule 1 in TWD universe is dont trust strangers, but these numpties become their best buds and agree immediately to help them to get their truck back, they send the claustrophobic nerd to check if Percy has any gun toting friends with him, good move! He will definately fend them off if there is! Was hoping Iris would be eaten in the dumpster but alas it wasnt to be although trying to rush someone thats just shot ur new best friend with a rhino horn attached to a stick is probably not the best way to go about things..there's is a big difference between being brave and stupid, this show is a laugh a minute in the worst way possible, watching Silas run shouting about their bags being stolen was hilarious, i cant wait for the idiotic adventures next week has in store!

Really Bad TV Coming. Get Ready for It
buddybradley-226659 November 2020
No reason to think episode 6 will find its way into the old Walking Dead universe. Expect to fall deeper into the pit of stupidity.

71 ratings 2 hours before the show is broadcast and scores a 6.3. Why don't they put their efforts into making a good show instead of faking a rating?

Update: Saw the show, more senseless whining combined with thoughtless chance taking. Even stupid dead would eat these people everyday.

Getting annoying
bobeaumont14 December 2020
"Why are you doing this" because it the end of the world and it's survival. So naive, all the kids should be dead now, just through stupidity. Also agree the makers of the show should add some realism with how clean they all are after being this long on the road.

Really now.
jayjay217187 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
So didn't listen to his story but. Let's think about how long it's been since the world ended why would they believe anything this kid has to say. I don't even think you can see ten bison. Let alone 200 in this world. And for them to think that it was him traveling alone in a truck full of gas. Is utter foolishness. I knew he was lying to them the whole time even the guy who was taken out of the truck figured he wasn't dead only thing I didn't see coming was that there wasn't a third accomplice. But. Everything else predictable. I truly hate that all these random walker appearance. They will like just be there for 2 minutes silent then jump out randomly. So you're saying when she slammed the door he didn't do anything until they had their random convo. Or the one in the dumpster it's like they are waiting for the opportune moment. I really hope they all get eaten.

Just walking and talking
torysheakitty21 April 2022
Seriously do these guys ever eat food? Theres nothing survival about this. Kids who have been in a "bubble" since the beginning yet they are surviving so easily. Every conflict is a misdirect or they miraculously find a way out of it with no blood shed. How did they get this garbage script on screen?
