Repetition

I do enjoy these types of shows. This one is pretty good. It's nice to hear First Responder encounters. However, the production reuses sets and clips like crazy.

It might not be noticable if you only watch one episode a week, but if binge-watching one episode after another it becomes very obvious. The same security officer in the same office...once in the UK and again in North America. The same house in different stories. Even some of the "paranormal expert" commentary is used multiple times. The same hallways, stairwells, and so on.

Not so fake...

True, for financial-reasons, some duplication of sets, props, and actors are used...However, some of the stories can be researched for validity / I happen to live near one of the show's cases involving a real local-police officer involved in one such case / & I myself once was a " ghost"...having been revived during an operation & telling the doctor's in both my operating room & the one next-door what they were doing & what they said as I "hovered" above (they were quite shocked 😲 to say the least!) / Finally, my sister (a nurse), and two good friend's (one a long time paramedic; another a long time physician), and none very religious, have all admitted that they have all witnessed paranormal 911-like "episodes" in their own work...& all have stated that the "un-written" rule in most hospitals (until this show!) is to basically not talk about such thing's... / Like pilots seeing ufo's and not wanting to report same...though that is also beginning to change, with the military recently "loosening-up" due to leaked navy pilot video's & interviews on major news outlets indicating we "may not be alone" after all...

I Find this Show's Actual Witnesses to be Credible
jennsinclair21 March 2021
I appreciate that this show provides people's last names and locations and appears to be credible. I do not appreciate the producers adding in the "extra" visuals. For example, a guard was watching a dead body all night and he states he saw a white mist coming from the body. Okay. But the producers made the dead body shake and move like crazy AND have the white mist come out at the same time. I am thinking "The witness did NOT state the body was moving at all!". I don't mind them reusing other pieces of dramatizations as long as they do not change the witnesses' actual memories. I like true memories of what happened by honest people.

Scary, Emotional, REAL!

I love these types of paranormal shows and this one did not disappoint; when you think of ghost stories you think of haunted houses, abandoned buildings or even creepy cemeteries. You don't really think about paranormal activity occurring when first responders or police officers are called to a scene. Very good show! I can't wait for another season...

An honest review. You get what you expect and that's good
kenjo-155133 December 2020
I enjoy the show and look forward to seeing other episodes. First you have to understand the show and by reading the title alone you should have some clear indication what to expect. Plus the narrative also explains the show.

What I like is that the story is told by the person experiencing it. I feel for those non believers that it would add authenticity if when they speak of having a partner that experienced it that they have some blurb about that persons take on what he/she experienced.

I end with this as to why I rate a 9 out of 10 on my honest review. I am prior Army- Military Police and served honorably. I say this to add character to my review as I have had my own personal paranormal experience while doing enemy prisoner of war training at a camp once actively used as a real detainment camp.

Because of that experience I can honestly attest to the paranormal being real. So if effects have to be used to enhance the story I say so be it so that the unbeliever and grasp the stories behind Paranormal 911.

Fake BS
kajayne23 February 2020
The Travel Channel recently ran marathons of this show and Haunted Hospitals. I love a good ghost stories especially if they are told by the people that experienced it. But these two shows must be produced by the same people because they were stupid enough to use the same "actor" who was telling his supposedly real (but extremely unbelievable) stories. In one show he was wearing a 3-piece suit and claiming to be federal policeman for homeland security and in the other show he was a driver for a funeral home picking up dead bodies. Really??? Couldn't you have found different actors to PRETEND to have had paranormal experiences and tell your fake stories?? Isn't it against the law to impersonate a federal policeman? It should be against the law to air fake documentaries!!!

Dumb, but sometimes fun.
incubunny799 April 2020
Most of these stories are pretty ridiculous. In episode 3, there's a "paramedic" named Ceredwyn Alexander telling her ghost encounter. The episode ended saying she was still an EMT and counsels other paramedics after tramatic experiences. I was curious about her unusual name, so I looked it up. She has a website where she offers to do cheesy "Victorian Seances". I couldn't help but laugh. Of course she does. If you want to giggle at the overdramatics, give it a watch. If you want to be scared, choose something else.

Please stop making these shows
zachmorran24 December 2020
There is no such things as a ghost grabbing you and throwing you across the room and cutting you. All this is fake. It's so annoying. I've seen many dead and have lost many close to me. I've been in terrible places where people have blown their heads off. Stop supporting this crap!

Skeptic's Dream
barbara-473052 January 2021
If ghosts are fake, this fake show is for you. Maybe would be tolerable except for the unrelated sounds (crashing, banging, hissing, screeching, squealing) and gruesome visual effects incessantly flashing on screen. These effects not related to the "story" being described by the 911 actors, yet thrown in there.

I like the storyline but.

Sorta repetitive story's that are all very similar to each other. Not sure I believe all these are real. Conclusion 5 out of 10.

Fake

Warning: Spoilers
I really liked this show. Yes, there are some annoying and cheesey effects. Sometimes the dramatizations don't match what the witness says, the usual in shows like this. I always thought there was some credibility as the "witnesses" are first responders. They wouldn't put their jobs on line for nothing right? I started googling the so called witnesses, many are actors, models, paranormal investigators, etc, definitely not paramedics or cops. Then they have actors in the dramatizations acting like the fake actor witnesses and even look like them. Where does the deciet end!? Where do these "real" accounts even come from? I'm guessing writer's imaginations. This show is at least 85% bs and I'm very sad about it.
