Through interviews with the main filmmakers revealed by the JCC (Carthage Film Festival), and critics from Africa and the Arab world, the film traces the birth and evolution from 1966 to 1982 of a militant festival unique in the world, the JCC, who participated in the knowledge and development of new cinemas in black Africa and the Arab world, and managed to establish a dialogue between them which lasts until today.
