The men bicker over playing with the commander's golf clubs and what they can have for lunch. Mahala May and Caprice come to borrow sugar, with Mahala May sweet on Cmdr. Wivenhoe. Doc overhears on the radio about an approaching hurricane, but as they rush out of the room the announcer reveals it is taking place in Bombay, India. The camp is in pandemonium with the boys and men running amok. Wivenhoe goes to warn the girls and women of Camp Divine, but comically ends up singing in their musical rehearsal before remembering the hurricane. The boys are shipped off to safety, but Malden, Spiffy, Doc, and Pruett stay behind with Wivenhoe who wants to go down with his stripped, barren camp. The girls of Camp Divine have also been sent for shelter in town, but Mahala May and Caprice hear on radio they haven't time to go while checking on the men. They all seek shelter in a storm shelter pit in camp with Wivenhoe's prized golf clubs. The radio says all shelters must be shored up with iron rods, and the clubs look to be in jeopardy.
A misdirected radio broadcast creating pandemonium similar to Orson Welles' 1938 "War of the Worlds" broadcast. Fun episode.
