It's Just Not Good

Total Oprah fanatics tell you to ignore the bad reviews - because how DARE anyone besmirch the Oprah name. The fact is, the show isn't good. It's self-indulgent and, as so many people who love Oprah are wont to say these days: tone deaf. Take some time to listen to what one of the most entitled people on the planet is saying and griping about. But it's par for the course from the woman who invented daytime trash TV and then, when she couldn't compete with the genrea she created, she pretended that she was above it and only wanted to do 'good' for the world. So she foists the likes of Dr. Phil upon us - who does FAR more harm than good.
Maybe in the future she will be seen for what she is, the same way Barbra Walters is now being judged.
The show is not good.

Don't pay attention to the negative reviews

My parents and I have really enjoyed this show. Each interview goes deep and literally every guest has been insightful or at least interesting to where you want to finish the episode and crave more. I think a lot of the negative reviews here are a bit of a hit job.
Oprah does it again!

Fantastic (Trolls Purposely Negatively Rating It)

I'm not some life long huge Oprah fan. I've never loved nor disliked her; but I find these interviews very intimate and love how both Oprah and her guest go deep into topics / their story. I can only assume the negative reviews are a hit job by trolls who either don't like Oprah or are turned off by compelling conversations about Race (which is only a few episodes); ironically I thought those episodes were actually quite informative. The Elliott Page episode was also fantastic; very eye opening, and I could genuinely feel his pain / was so happy for him.

It was ok, I laughed, I cried it was better than Cats (the movie) Indigo is my Color Purple really. It can be meandering at times but worth the effort, so far. I've only completed to Mr. Page, appropriately timed to my own acceptance. Thank you all we are in good voices as in hands.
