The Inspiring and Powerful Health Docuseries that America Has Been Waiting For
mkrum-7294823 July 2019
Rx for Health has been reformed with additional material focused on recent developments-and the rising toll on human life--from the COVID-19 pandemic. Adding to the recent developments are stories about Matthew McConaughey and his wife, model Camila McConaughey, assisting in the distribution of critical information and delivery of face masks to rural hospitals. The relaunch also includes actor Sean Penn and others creating free, walk-up COVID-19 testing sites. Lighter moments of the added material about COVID-19 are images of Hollywood actors like Jake Gyllenhaal and Will Smith without makeup, speaking on social networks. The 2020 re-release is timely and much needed resource and interactive tool that provides pivotal information for the elderly and ill during the COVID-19 pandemic. The original reliable sources and trusted healthcare professionals that appeared in the first release are still there, but new segments about the Coronavirus, social distancing, new critical habits for healthy living under COVID-19, and more. The added segments are tasteful, entertaining, and instructional. The graphics and sequence have been adjusted to accommodate and showcase the expanded Coronavirus material. The newly released RX for Health has been embraced by users and news outlets, as the production is being used as a critical and nonpartisan health resource along side John Hopkins and Mayo Clinic. Rx for Health is an entertaining and immediate guide, with the most recent and relevant information on COVID-19, helping vast populations facing greater risk from the pandemic. For all of us, and especially the at-risk populations, coronavirus can be a death sentence; Rx for Health provides the critically necessary education in a clear and easily understood way. With resources like this, there is comfort and hope that we can and will get through this.

An Impactful and Relevant Series: Moreso Now Than Ever
samperks13 May 2020
This series is among the best because it contains so much trustworthy information on a wide variety of diseases. Some of the leading experts in the healthcare field are on film talking about the illnesses that impact you, me, and the neighbor down the street. Some of the ones that really stood out to me were pulmonary issues, flus, viruses, etc., because of the coronavirus. Even though COVID-19 is at the forefront of everyone's mind right now, the studies from CDC and others showing ties between the virus and other underlying health issues make films like this so important! If someone is older and on a lot of medications, then their immune system could be compromised. So, even though these meds help them during their day-to-day lives, the risk of coronavirus goes up. Bill Gates' foundation is still seeking a vaccine, as are other major companies, but until then we are all at risk. The virus impacts everyone, even if they themselves are not sick. Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Robert Redfield (Director of CDC), and Steven Hahn (Director of FDA) all are in quarantine right now after positive tests emerged from the White House. Since many of our national politicians are older, with underlying health issues like those discussed in Rx for Health, they may be more susceptible to COVID-19. There is a great need for honest, truthful information about health right now, and this series fits that niche perfectly.
