The beating death of a Digger (WWII veteran) leads the team to a junkie, whose own death at the hands of a local councilor uncovers some hidden intrigues.
A deadly hit-and-run is initially dismissed as an accident. When a witness belatedly comes forward with new evidence, Homicide re-opens the case. It turns out the victim's employer is none other than the Police Union.
Plans to build a housing estate are cancelled after a report containing information about contamination in the soil is found by the police. How many people will be killed to stop the report getting out?
