Not really into Nascar, never been to a race. But watching the driver development process in real time is TIVO material for me. I think the show's premise is destined to catch on and will undoubtedly spill into another season. The show could stand some tweaking, but then again, don't I end up saying that about every reality show?

Viewer input should be allowed somehow. Otherwise, the general format seems good enough to set the tone for driver/team advancement in a yin/yang sort of way. By that I mean there's a sense of leverage by knowing the goods before they're good, seeing the flag before the finish, and understanding the tension in the driver's seat. I like the show. I think I'll keep tuning in.

I've watched the show from the first episode and have seen much improvement since then. Not only does the pacing get better and faster but the challenges have improved making the show much more competitive and fun to watch.

You don't have to be a race fan to enjoy Reality Racing The Rookie Challenge. I've never watched a race in my life but I enjoy watching a reality show about racing. That's the beauty of this show, it doesn't matter whether you're into racing or not, it'll still entertain you. All the elements for an interesting show are there already and it just keeps getting better.

I can easily see this show getting picked up for a second season just based on the format. Even if the second season was a stand-alone season that was completely different from the first. The possibilities are nearly infinite as you can race just about anything these days.

My compliments go out to the cast and crew for bringing the nation a real, new and exciting reality show during an era where television has taken the "reality" out of reality TV.
