Here comes the bride

Warning: Spoilers
Although people will point to Alfie as being the replacement for Nick, in truth it was more the 'Will they, won't they?' relationship of Abi and Roger that filled the time that would have been dedicated to Nick's scheme of the week upon Kris Marshall's departure from the show.

And the culmination of this comes in this episode, as the two wed, eventually.

Personally I thought the characters worked best in a supporting capacity, and never really found the stories geared around their relationship overly funny, but I love 'My Family' and they were a big part of that, so...

This is a really nice episode, with lots of funny moments. It was also nice to see a fairly sweet scene between Ben and Abi, in which Ben wasn't as grumpy as normal.

Throw in an amusing subplot with Michael/Alfie and you've got a good episode.

It's the big day.

The day of Abi and Roger's wedding has arrived, Abi gets a pre wedding talk from Ben the night before.

I really do enjoy this episode, it is a real mix of funny and lovely. It's very moving, and of course a string of funny scenes and cracking one liners. Favourite scene has to be where Ben accompanies Roger down the aisle, I had tears.

The organist is hilarious, she's having some cheeky fun. Lorraine Chase is an absolute comic delight, she is absolutely hilarious. It's a fun episode for Janey, Alfie and Michael have some very funny scenes.

Lovely, 8/10.

Good episode but....

This is a good episode but I wonder how they managed put electricity into Janey's dress, I bet the producers told Daniela Denby-Ashe that she would have to wear a dress made of electricity whilst filming the episode. Also Janey tends to play the jealous act during the episode, as no one remembers her birthday and as a result, it causes her to get jealous of all the attention Abi and Roger are getting from everyone.
