Beautiful to the extreme

No one can go back to the Tang Dynasty. But the costumes, makeup, utensils, royal court games, and Buddhist temples in this film convinced me that this is absolutely Tang Dynasty.

Although the overall story line is too bland, and the interpretation of Yang Gui Fei's view of love is not deep enough (probably limited to the duration of the movie), several major scenes, such as bathing in Huaqing Pool, Yang's dances at palace, and Li Bai's poems to Yang Gui Fei (Imperial Concubine Yang), are all perfectly displayed.

Imperial Concubine Yang Yang seems to be pursuing pure love, hoping to be an ordinary couple with the emperor in the next life. But in the political struggle, she herself became a victim.
