Fantastic Series.

Brilliant presentation with engrossing tales.

But,.. The episode on Rockets misses some vital accuracy regarding the fuels used. Hydrogen is not the most common, or the most powerful, and while the narration (scripted and read beautifully by Patrick Stewart) is telling us about the limits of Hydrogen power, the visuals show us rockets that fly using LOx and RP1 - the latter being a derivative of Kerosene. For more accurate information on that part of the subject matter, Tim Dodds on Everyday Astronaut has a brilliant presentation. Misses being 10 stars only to reflect the work of the researchers and script writers being 'mostly accurate'.

Great show

Just started watching this, it feels like a 21st Century version of James Burke's Connections. Jim Al-Khalili is a really engaging presenter who breaks down and explains the concepts really well.

Brilliant, EXCEPT...

Warning: Spoilers
For a MAJOR omission in E6, where they solely credit Jack Kilby of Texas Instruments as the inventor of the integrated circuit (IC), utterly ignoring the seminal work of Robert Noyce at Fairchild Semiconductor; Noyce, who used silicon rather than Kilby's germanium, created the IC that is the basis for the modern microprocessor (which he ALSO invented, but the episode bypasses that entirely for a double snub of Noyce). Without the microprocessor, the modern smartphone (the subject of the episode) couldn't exist!

C'mon, people! The rest of the series is engrossing & brilliant. Don't ruin it by skimping on your research!
