Just Beautiful

What a powerful ending, this show always does the best job at connecting everything across all the different timelines and no exception here. Ending had me in tears yet again. Character development is done so well and you just fall in love with all the main characters and feel and understand everything they are going through, which to me is another reason why this show is so special.

Family matters

A great episode dealing with how a family has a sixth sense when one family member is in trouble and needs imminent help. Most families find themselves in stressful situations and this Pearson family lays it on the line. Another well written episode that is both heartwarming and endearing.

Kevin is the new Jack.

I'm utterly proud of Kevin for granting Jack's wish. He's definitely come a long way since the beginning of the show. I'm also in awe of the writers' brilliant execution in steering the focus to Rebecca for being the heroine that the kids can rely on. Well done!

Just keeps getting better

As with all good shows, I'm a late comer to this one too. However being all caught up now, it continues to astound me how amazing it really is.

This episode is the best one yet.

Also how can they age Kevin and he just gets hotter???? 😉

Tears, here they come

Warning: Spoilers
I have not cried because of a movie for a long time, but this episode had me in tears all over again.

The way the episode is built up to digging up the time capsule is amazing as usual, the storylines perfectly match each other. When the Big Three opens the box, you can see the nostalgia in their eyes, and when they come to listen to the tape, you would expect to hear Rebecca's voice telling them something. Then again, comes a twist, to typical in this show.

When you suddenly hear Jack's voice, you already know that the Big Three is gonna end up in tears, but when 'To Build a Home' starts playing, you are suddenly crying along them.

Gotta love this show.

Beautiful

Every season has that one episode, despite each instalment being great there's always that one that manages to stand out from the others... Season One had 'Memphis' Season Two had 'Super Bowl Sunday' and Season Three had 'Songbird Road' this season it's 'The Cabin' this episode gave us some gripping threads from each timeline. Important character moments are sprinkled through the hour like hot cakes and the ending is truly stunning. Can't wait to see what this show looks like moving forward, it never ceases to amaze me.

Absolutely beautiful..the way they portray the story of something so simple to something amazing shows the value of relationships. The puzzle to building something beautiful.. Its a lovely lesson on how families can work and can tackle issues together.

It made me cry more than I'd like to admit.

One of the most sentimental episodes of the series and in true sense this episode was the missing piece that connected everything like the missing piece of that puzzle Randall hid in the capsule.

Beautiful.

Warning: Spoilers
Don't think I've ever described a show or episode of television as this, but it's truly beautiful. I am not typically a crier, but damnit every time I rewatch the scene where the big three listen to the Jack tape, it gets me. Not to mention the horrible trauma that Kate undergoes which honestly helped me start to understand her character much more. Even a very short scene such as young Kevin helping young Randall pick his time capsule scene is so touching.

The acting and writing and emotional impact of the music in this show never ceases to amaze me on rewatches, getting to watch this show live was one of the best experiences I've had keeping up with a show and this is in the convo of best episode of the show imo.
