Generalities And Trivialities
Here's a short film directed, edited and starring Tom Graeff as both a college student going through four years on campus as a member of a fraternity, and as a statue on that campus celebrating fraternities. As someone who went to a fraternity school and yet never joined one, I approach this as a pure puff piece, one strengthened a bit by having Joe E. Brown as an elder member of the fraternity giving a couple of speeches to the members.
Over all, it's ok, if predictably bland. It extols in broad terms the good will of the fraternity, but spends most of its time covering the love life of the student.
