Great episode...

Was never a consistent viewer of this show, but this episode may change that. Thought it was very well written. Also caught new face in the cast that I thought was very good (Adam Bitterman). His stare downs on screen during interrogations made me feel like I was the accused!

Ok but

But HAlstead undermining Voight is over the top. Since the begining he's been like this and in this episode it went way overboard. After 6 seasons and I don't know how much time it went by with Antonio, Lindsay and Voight working together, Jay should've been like Kim and Kevin are with Voigh, tight and solid. Get rid of him already

Great Episode but get rid of Halstead

The tension between Voight and Halstead is too much. Halstead needs to be written off the show. Maybe a bust gone wrong and they have a nice funeral for him and move on but his character just sucks

Good Show

All though I prefered the show in the early seasons this was the first one where I felt like it is pretty good again. There is alot of action and the watcher is not sure what to think and we are not sure what to think about Voight. Personally I don't like his charcter alot because it feels like hes one note but I like Hasltead alot. The acting is pretty good here and I am going to watch the whole season now.

A good start to the seventh season

Another steady start to a new season. As always, the acting is great, the writing is consistently good, the characters are well rounded and the writing allows for us to be invested in them. I give this episode and the series a 7 (good) out of 10. {Police Drama}

Really Poor Acting!

This whole episode appears to have been rushed. A few of the Jason Beghe and Jesse Lee Soffer scenes were not believable at all.

Halsted should be gone
bwestbroker5 May 2024
Halsted is the only character I've never been able to stomach. From his first episode the temper tantrums.and suspicions of everyone on the team just keep escalating. Kept hoping it was a learning process but he never learns. He just keeps fighting everyone on the team..keeps choosing another team member to hold in front of the group as suspicious. As much of a controller as their boss is I doubt he'd have lasted 2 days let alone 6 seasons and he's never improved. I've watched The entire series several times and have grown to realise Halsted character more each time. By the time they finally got him off the show I was so suck of his childish tantrums I've given up watching. Since its ending I'll have to make an attempt to watch all the way through. Bet it could have lasted longer if they'd either disciplines him by rewriting scripts to improve him or just killed him off. He's NOT missed.
