Sala Feiermann left the UK and settled in America. She married and had two children. She died in 2005.
Reunited, Salek and Chiel Falinower went on to set up a successful business together on the south coast. Salek died in 2014.
In all, 732 child survivors of the Holocaust were brought to Windermere and other locations in the UK. Every year they and their families meet to celebrate their survival.
