Just as Good as the '70's can get!

The classic Doobie Brothers show up @ The Beacon Theatre in NYC with a really tight band and absolutely amazing talent! You might not have heard a couple of the songs played in the first set but I think this just show cases the extreme talent. For example, the song Mamaloi had not been played for a long time, and they took time to practice it and performed it masterfully. This band gets going and the show gets better and better. Wow. Just WOW.

The Doobie Brothers

This band spans half a century as of 2020. "Toulouse St." and "The Captain And Me" performances are stellar. The Doobie Brothers sound better than ever in 2019. Why? Because the band members practice practice practice.

Tom Johnston, John McFee, and especially Patrick Simmons are The Doobie Brothers. With their current lineup, these two albums performed onstage sound amazing. Don't expect note for note. Expect expert musicians who display their hearts and soul into every song.
