I was lucky and turned to it just before Nik started his walk. So might say that was good, but I would have liked to seen some of the intro stuff because I think it would have been interesting.
I remember watching his father and am friends with another circus family that performed with them for many years.
What they do is amazing even with the safety hooks, which I didn't expect.
Not sure how people not having seen it live will be able to see it, but if you can you won't be disappointed with the roughly 30 minutes walking the wire, and the cross-over between Nik and his sister.

As a note, the reason for the tethers is they were required by ABC.

First off let me say that I would never, ever, ever, want to see someone get hurt ... or worse. That being said, the fact that they are completely tethered to a safety line the entire time made this terribly boring. No drama, no tense moments, no real risk & no excitement! Not to mention the fact that at least half of the 2 hour time slot is commercials.
