After a fairly strong last season, this season opens with a terrible episode. This exhibits everything wrong in this series after 14 seasons. This episode has almost no new material and does not have any compelling information. It is a bunch of talking heads spewing theories without much link to the topic.

I'm appalled at this episode for one simple reason. You claim to interview a prior Navy SEAL that claims to have been to Antarctica. First, What the heck would a SEAL being doing there???... Wait, I have to stop at that comment because that will just add fuel to the conspiracy. Anyway, he claims his rank was First Lieutenant Commander. Well, that's where I'm ticked. Here's the point. This rank doesn't exist! More so, the U. S. Military does not take kindly to impersonators - it's illegal! Worse yet, he claims to have been a SEAL and an OFFICER (at least a British Officer perhaps...); two pillars of excellence within the military community that should not be tarnished by this unchecked, unconfirmed, junk - do your homework!. So, Ancient Aliens Director, Producer, whatever.... I'm out. I enjoyed some of the content in the past because there were some interesting historical tie-ins and because you challenge conventional thought. But, not any more... I'm done watching.
