Narrator needs to find a new line of work
gorussgo7 February 2020
The subject matter is mildly interesting, even though Ancient Aliens has covered every bit of this material in better detail, and without a horrible narrator with a speech impediment mispronouncing every other word. Did nobody edit this at all? I honestly would've given this movie at least 6 stars if it hadn't been riddled with narration errors.

Pretty sure Lucasfilm wants their ship back
robertalanford15 June 2021
Lasted 10 minutes. If you're going to hire a narrator, hire a proper one. Preferably one that can read the script he's given. And how the heck is the ship on the poster not a copyright infringement?

58:31 old man bags
chadmooney-2474613 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The whole thing is about water baskets and buckets!!! Not bags!!! The source of life is water so they depicted them so often because water meant everything to them, ergo they depicted the vessels they carried too source of life in!!! Other than that it not bad i like it a lot great flick and pretty informative about things i didn't know before!!!! I'm learning about certain sites around the world i previously never knew about!!I personally believe we have multiple lost advanced civilizations that have wiped themselves out or have been wiped out but cataclysmic events they had no control over or they initiated!

Terrible from narration on down to facts and terrible stock images
johnross-731232 September 2020
I didn't pick to watch this. I found my aging (and I now suspect senile) father watching this fascinating documentary.

I thought, from the terrible reading, with strange pauses and pronunciation it was a science fiction spoof and I was waiting for the twist to make it fun. The first couple I saw where known fake alien horse-feathers. It's a potters wheel, not a turbine.

But it kept going. The YouTube video style of terrible reading over stock images as fakes, hoaxes and just overwhelming ignorance are presented. Many without any link to this 'therefore aliens' that seems to be the overall goal.

I am not a professional historian, but I took at least one more history course than the people behind this mess as so many of their mysteries are just not 'oooooh spooky Aliens!?!?'

How mad did watching this whole terrible pile of misinformation make me? I was driven to reset my password so I could leave this angry review of this terrible thing. One star is one and a half stars to many. The creator of this should come and do some work for me for a couple of hours to make back my time with internet.

Ignorant narrator

I have to agree with gorussgo's assessment of the narration. His mispronunciations were making me cringe, I had to stop watching.

Annoying Narrator Hurts Your Ears
carlos51226 December 2020
I love this subject and the content of this documentary could have been interesting to me.

But the horrible horsy voice and annoying intonation of the Narrator really damages the interest, hurting my ears in the process... Because of the Narrator, I could handle only 5 minutes, sorry...

BS

I thought that It was an archaeological show. I am disappointed because It's just about some interesting rumors, There is no scientific facts on It, no Isotope analysis or carbon analysis on those artifacts...It's just probably a hoax. Lost of time!

Can but refer to the review title; as brown as the inside of the director's head.

Misspelled monolith in your documentary
daphnejames6629 February 2020
Y'all misspelled "monolith stones." I'd be happy to look over spelling in any future documentaries y'all do

Nothing new and a lot left out.
MikeHunt107531 December 2020
This is just a quickly thrown together thing most likely made as a filler program.

It is also a typical one of the many documentaries that leave out a lot of real information so you beleive what the director wants you to beleive.

Take the artifact of the Jesus Shroud that has been proven to be fake, but the narrator says it's possibly the earliest greatest forgery of all time or it's real, as it dates back to the time of Jesus... klaxxon sound... No, it doesn't. That a why the Vatican don't even acknowledge it anymore, it's been proven to be fake... and also, how is it an Alien Artifact? Lol.

I was entertained by this thing, but still, it's all misinformation, telling you what the director wants you to hear, missing evidence and contained cheap computer imagery rather than photographic or film evidence. The footage it does show for a 2019 documentary looks like it was shot on early 90s camera technology that has been recorded and converted from a VHS.

Narrator sucks
gopgabbai18 December 2022
This film is a bunch of "perhapses" "who knows ifs," mounted in mysterious music accentuated by bongo drums, and narrated by a dunce who mispronounces every third word. The funniest of this moron's mistakes is when he misprinounces the name of the Pharaoh Seti I as Setil.

Some of the film is interesting, but it is so amateurish as to insult a viewer of average intelligence. They intersperse unconnected images for who-knows-what purpose. An example of this is when the insert a photo of two obvious Civil War reenactors in a segment about giant prehistoric skulls! In short, this film is really bad!!

Pseudo-science
johnconnersm24 May 2022
Pseudo-science, personal perception, is not approved by the scientific community. No scientific article supports these views. These people have no purpose other than to deceive the public and attract attention. The universe is large, most likely, there is extraterrestrial life on different levels. But that they came to planet Earth in the past? There is no corroborating evidence.

Open your mind and eyes.

I thought this was an excellent and informative documentary. Many of these opinions feel like the truth and I believe that anyone who really dislikes this are close minded, and suffering.

It starts in a hole, and it's downhill from there.
didwewin5 May 2022
NOT a spoiler! The first object, according to the narrator, contains two "metallic metal" objects. I'm not sure if he read this from a glassy glass screened tablet or a papery paper script.

Shortly thereafter, there is mention of another artifact, which is "a copy of a previous, 'more older' metallic object".

I made it 14 minutes before shutting it down. That's when the narrator started talking about "deedecahedrons" with "pentagon-eL" faces.

I'm not sure what the $1 million budget was spent on, but they didn't waste any on scriptwriters, proofreaders, diction coaches or fact checkers.
