  Supergirl : Lena...

  Lena Luthor : Your words mean nothing to me anymore. Spare us both the drama. Leave me alone.

  Hope : Our Q-wave generator is ready to integrate with Myriad.

  Lena Luthor : [an alarm beeps]  Supergirl?

  Hope : Don't worry. The bunker is lead-lined. She can't find us.

  Lena Luthor : Well, these are Lex's countermeasures.

  Hope : [ion cannons appear and take aim at Kara]  What do we do? Ms. Luthor?

  Lena Luthor : Deploy.

  [the cannons fire, knocking Kara backward] 

  Lena Luthor : That should keep her at bay.

  [seeing another alert] 

  Lena Luthor : What's happening now?

  Hope : It appears to be re-arming the cannons with kryptonite.

  Lena Luthor : Well, cancel it.

  Hope : It's on an automatic override.

  Lena Luthor : Shut it down.

  Hope : [trying]  It's not responding.

  Lena Luthor : Shut it down now!

  Supergirl : [seeing the cannons turn green, she raises her arms in surrender]  Lena, d... don't do this.

  Lena Luthor : [overriding and disarming the cannons]  We must stay true to our mission. We don't kill people, no matter how much they've hurt us.

  Supergirl : [exhaling in relief]  I'm not gonna give up on you.

• Hope : Myriad is ready to launch. Ms. Luthor, this is your moment. Shall I activate?

  Hope : Three. Two.

  [Hope presses a button, but nothing happens] 

  Lena Luthor : What's happening?

  Hope : It won't lock onto the satellite. Something's interfering with the dishes' ability to move. It's a virus. It's working through our mainframe. Ms. Luthor, the hologram.

  Lena Luthor : It was a Trojan horse. Of course. How could I be so naive to think that Supergirl wanted to talk?

• Hope : If the virus spreads, the DEO will be able to deactivate our security defenses in twenty minutes. We need a workaround before then. We could manually unlock the arrays.

  Lena Luthor : No, Lex has booby-trapped this entire place. There'll be a lethal failsafe if I try to tamper with the dishes.

  Hope : Then I'll go.

  Lena Luthor : No, you can't. You're too great an asset.

  Hope : Ms. Luthor, one of my prime directives, as you programmed, was to ensure the success of Non Nocere. If that means self-sacrifice...

  Lena Luthor : No. Even if you could manually reset it, there's no telling the extent of the virus's damage. All right, we may need you. It'd be short-sighted to lose you now. If we could replicate the virus, we could reverse-engineer it and override the shutoff remotely, okay? I just... I'll-I'll need some help.

  Hope : Very well. Accessing files.

  [surprised by the ground rumbling] 

  Lena Luthor : What was that?

  Hope : That felt like a residual aftershock. Yes. A 5.4-magnitude earthquake right in the heart of National City.

  Lena Luthor : It's knocked the entire satellite array offline. There's no way I can reverse-engineer anything now.

  Hope : I can still try a manual override. I can reposition the dishes myself.

  Lena Luthor : We discussed this. Absolutely not. You could be killed. Both Hope and Eve gone, forever.

  Hope : But it would be worth it for both of us, because I believe in you. Eve did, too. I have seen the depravity of humans. I have seen the betrayal and the pain. Let me help, so that we can stop them from committing any more of these horrible acts once and for all.

  Lena Luthor : No. I will not allow it. We will find another way. Your partnership has meant the world to me, Hope. You're the only friend I can count on.

  Hope : But, Ms. Luthor, I'm not your friend. I'm something you created to serve a purpose.

  Lena Luthor : Amazing, Hope. You've done it.

  [reaching for the launch button]
