Great overview of 70s movies, but why were disaster movies overlooked?

Warning: Spoilers
Nothing about Irwin Allen and the popular disaster movie genre in the 1970s??

Good

This series is amazing. All the people who hate it, hate it for the worst reasons. Ignore them. Unfortunately, after much anticipation for this episode, I was disappointed. It's by far the worst in the series.

Excellent Focus on Significant Decade
Hitchcoc29 July 2019
I had forgotten what great movies came out of this decade. The George Lucas/Steven Spielberg epics, for instance. But the directors and actors this era produced are hard to beat. Many were appearing for the first time (Redford and Hoffman, for instance). Great young directors like Peter Bogdanovich and Francis Ford Coppola. This is just scratching the surface, of course. Don't miss this if you have not seen it.
