Sex & Nudity

  • There are a number of art piece items in the game that feature nudity based on real-life classical artwork (paintings, sculptures). This includes fully detailed female breasts and male genitals.
  • The player's character can wear a bath towel, they can also give animal villagers to wear it.
  • K. K. Slider (white musician dog) doesn't wear clothes, but he doesn't look sugestive.
  • Since Redd's paintings are based off of real ones, some of the paintings does contain some partial nude.
  • The player's character when devoid of any tops and/or bottoms will be wearing a waist-length tank top and boxer shorts.

Violence & Gore

  • None of concern. Players can be attacked by wasps, and rarely, by tarantulas and scorpions, which may cause the player to faint and respawn at their homes. Wasp attacks depict the player with a cartoonishly battered face which can be promptly healed with medicine. Players can also harass animals by hitting them with their nets, which may prompt them to reprimand them for their inconsiderate behaviour.
  • If you leavle The house over 7 days, there's cockroaches. You can kill cockroaches but there's no blood or gore.

Profanity

  • Parents should be aware that players can interact online, and online players may use profanity or make their own animal neighbours use profane dialogue. The game itself (without player intervention) does not contain any coarse language.
  • Some of the animals might say "heck"
  • The street-art wallpaper is depicted with graffiti, which can imply use of vulgar language considered inappropriate for younger kids.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • None.
  • In the Happy Home Paradise DLC, after completing vacation homes in multiples of 10, the player and the Paradise Planning team have a party and are shown to drink out of wine glasses while posing with them.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some of Redd's fake art are haunted.
  • Really scary Japanese painting that gives nightmares
  • Some wallpapers and flooring can be frightening to young players. For instance, Phoebe's house's default interior if invited later in the game uses wallpaper and flooring taking place in a magma cavern in connection to how the Phoenixes (that she's based after) rise from the ashes.
