Scraps of new material
timothygartin31 July 2020
So, "Ancient Aliens" did this episode as well. The difference here is the addition of the underground churches and the Loretto staircase. Even though we have a little new material, so far the exploration of everything in this series is so high-level and superficial, that there is not a lot of substance.

Also, stop with the pyramids, please.

A Half-Truth Is Still A Lie
nebohr28 October 2022
Both my wife and I respect Bill Shatner and we tend to view this series with open minds (and hearts).

But let's face it: The majority of these "mysteries" are just plain embellishments and half-truths. Here's a hint: The famous Egyptian "pyramids" were built by dragging the stones up sand embankments. No UFOs. No magic. No mystery. People: the majority of our practical sciences were conceived centuries ago. Humans have been intelligent creatures for a LONG time.

As always we initially award 8 stars to any production. But this production deserves only 5 stars because it is: "Meh /Lackluster" on our grading scale.

Beautiful scenery. Good soundtrack. Good story telling.
