Another excellent documentary from David Gregory takes a look at SADOMANIA with director Jess Franco. The director is never short of words and that's true here as he discusses all sorts of topics ranging from the WIP genre, the production of the film, the General Franco regime, nudity and of course star Ajita Wilson. Fans of Franco are certainly going to enjoy this featurette because the man tells all sorts of great stories and only like he can. That energy that Franco has as he talks and smokes his cigarettes is just priceless because he makes you want to go out and watch everything he's talking about. To my surprise, Franco actually says he enjoys SADOMANIA, which is rare because if you've seen these featurettes from Blue Underground then you know that he doesn't like most of the films. Franco's discussion on Wilson were also quite interesting and we even get a good speech about morality and cinema.
