- Season 16, episode 106. Thomas visits dentist Merz to have a look at his toothache. Cornelius urges him to a root canal treatment. Thomas lets him know that he is about to refuse the teacher's job that has been offered to him. Erika, Merle and Thomas get wind of immoral practices of upper mayor Simone. Farmer Olsen stays in the hospital for a hernia treatment. He couldn't find a professional harvester to get his crops from the field in time. Olsen leases farmland to a company that Merle and Erika recognize as an herbicides producer. Leonie is still upset by Frank. Yvonne means that he should have patience. Hannes hears Leonie saying that she wants to organize an open air festival with free entrance. She asks him to talk with Laurenz for seed money. But Laurenz stops any possible negotiation when he hears that Leonie is behind this idea. Yvonne hears about this idea and briefs Frank about it; he reacts annoyed. Agnes and Margret go to Kenia in two days. Agnes urges Margret to settle things with Laurenz. But it takes Cornelius to bring the family together for a serious talk. Laurenz blames his parents for determining his life where they now ask tolerance from him. Ben brings Anne to the hospital when she hurts her foot during jogging. He leaves her alone to care for a customer. Anne reveals doctor Britta that she is averse to pain killers since her addiction two years ago. Britta offers her acupuncture. Ben's workshop is still closed. Simone does Ben the indecent proposal to join the bed sheets with her; she promises him that after this he can open his business again. Amelie reveals Britta that upper mayor Simone has let her down; the water tower hotel stays a castle in the sky. In Gregor's office Amelie gets a good job offer.
