Rob Word makes Hollywood Show to promote Word on Westerns
guestar-494655 February 2023
When you can incorporate costars of western film legends and remind us of scripts and sets anecdotes,Well then That's the last words (Word himself) on any And all westerns.

Alot of chances to interview celebrities from all decades of west films come from Silver Spur Awards,Itself a celebration of all things cowboy culture in theatres and tv and memorabilia and autographs.

One of my favorite episodes was Lone Ranger was her father,Telling the journey of Clayton Moore on screen and off as recounted by his daughter.

These rough and tough icons who had guns, horses and a different code of honor that has been lost.

Western Stars Tell Their Best (and worst)
Bretacious10 November 2022
I'm biased, since I help film these shows. But as a child of Western fans I'm a kid again meeting these famous folk.

My childhood heroes and heroines come to talk about their memories and meet with fans.

Robert Forster, Ed Asner, Joan Collins, Walter Hill, L. Q. Jones, Stephanie Powers, Johnny Crawford and so many stars, directors, stunt people have come to share their stories.

Even John Wayne's son Patrick, the Lone Ranger's daughter, Dawn Moore has shared remembrances of their dads.

The programs contain clips from their notable films as well as behind the scenes secrets and what really happens filming Westerns where some of the actors tell the old lie about being able to horseback ride when they've never been on one.

Then we learn about real cowboys like Ben Johnson and Slim Pickens who not only made it as Hollywood Cowboys but became legends.

Never gets old!

A superb interviewer
warwickwires-2398818 March 2024
Rob Word's wit, memory and humor are only the start of what makes him the wonderful interviewer that he is. They were great times going to the Autry Museum once a month to see his interviews in person for his A Word on Westerns website.

Those interviews with the celebrities and the people that made Western films are part of saving history. It was sad news to hear that March of 2024 would be the last program he would do at the Autry. I have had the pleasure of knowing Rob for many years and his interviews are a joy to watch when you go up to his website for A Word on Westerns. I encourage everyone to visit that site and see history saved right before your eyes.

Superstar movie location destroyed
bparker-857033 March 2022
Cowboys don't resort to click bait. The title "Superstar Movie Location Destroy" is very misleading, sensationalist, and click bait. Stop it! In the same episode Rob Word said that Jango Unchained is one of his favorite films. So now we have Woke, Politically Correct, and Click Bait. How disappointing.
