A face recognition system recognizes Cameron with the tag "101". In the films The Terminator (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) the main character was a Model 101 Terminator of the 800 Series.
First appearance in the series of Brian Austin Green playing Derek Reese, the brother of Kyle Reese, Michael Biehn's character in the original The Terminator (1984).
In the chess match Japan moves a rook to C2 and checkmate; the announcer sounds surprised. TV and movie writers have a problem with chess because good chess games don't give clean and dramatic reveals or reversals. A decent but not anywhere near tournement level player still sees several moves ahead. A surprise to him would be realising that in three moves he will be in trouble. At grandmaster levels the players are thinking much farther ahead.
At the chess tournament a robot dog barks at Cameron, a terminator, just like real dogs bark at terminators in the franchise.
In The Terminator (1984), it was never mentioned or hinted at that Kyle Reese had a brother. Subsequent entries also never mentioned Kyle Reese having a brother either.
