More than 6 years and they still deliver a mid-season finales like never before !!
Aktham_Tashtush22 November 2019
I mean come on !!! the group is shattered ... another shocking death and a last scene to revel a bombshell of a comeback . .. A huge standing-ovation to literally everyone made this possible.

The script this half season was as strong as ever ,, maybe they cut back a little on the flash-forward scenes but that didn't, not even one bit, decrease the tension and high drama level ,, and even with so much has already happened, the story of Annalise and her "Dwarf" has much more to offer.

The cast is still genuine and interactive ,, even the new faces they fit in really well before they "depart" :D ...

There's no date yet, but I think the series will come back after Christmas/New year holiday with "based on what I've heard " probably final six episodes. .. Already excited ;)

Great Episode, But the whole Nate Pops Storyline is not very believable, he had no contact with his father for years and then this cruzade, additionally he pre-killed miller, and then blaming Analise for what happened?!

HTGAWM-Are You the Mole? : When you go down, I hope I'm there to see it.
edicionccq21 December 2019
Everyone was ready for the last semester. Connor (Jack Falahee) and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) are enjoying of their relationship. Michaela (Aja Naomi King) is in a journey to discover the truth about her biological family. Asher's (Matt McGorry) family needs him. Frank (Charlie Weber) is searching for Laurel (Karla Souza). Nate (Billy Brown) and Bonnie (Liza Weil) are looking for justice for Nate's father. Meanwhile, Analisse (Viola Davis) is looking for a way to end it all.

This season has been a wild ride since the beginning. It really feels like it is the last season because it is. Every character is trying being a better version they can be. Meanwhile, the FBI is trying to find the truth behind every crime they have committed so far.

Every twist and turn are great. Most of the cases are enjoyable. Every character has his function in this season. They have very good storylines and you can see what the final goal for every single one is. I hope the last 6 episodes of the season wrapped up a good series finale that make us forget about how mediocre the last two seasons were.

So far this season gets 10 out of 10

WOW. What. an. episode. WOW! 🙌
Top_Dawg_Critic22 November 2019
I'm assuming this episode was the mid-season finale, and wow was the writing insane! The flash-forwards all came together well, but the newest flash-forwards towards the end!?! The last 10 mins of this episode is probably the best I've seen in any TV series! This show is pulling no stops, I just hate the fact I have to wait so long for the next episode. Perfect writing, directing, acting... perfect everything! A perfect 10/10 from me. 🙌 It's going to be hard to top this one, but then again I've said that a few too may times in previous mid/end season finales of this show.

Epic in every sense of the word.
deaeight1 August 2020
I was blown away by this episode. Nothing in history has done melodrama like this show. At the end of the episode A track called Dark Matter by Les Friction plays over a montage and my God. Epic, Epic Epic!!! The lyrics are " I am dark matter, your road to ruin....bring me your soul bring me your hate, in my name you will create..." It's the most inspired song choice for a TV show since TV On The Radio's DLZ in Breaking Bad when Walt realises he has to quash his competitor while queuing in the DIY store. This show is going out with not just all guns blazing. These mf's are dropping bombs, launching nukes and giving us shock and awe!! Love it love it love it.

This was non-stop, forcing us to check our minds every few moments. We have so many plot elements still at work. We have surprises and we have the loss of a major character. Annalise is going off the deep end. We know she is still in the game, but in what way? Did someone really give this episode a single star. That's just juvenile selfishness and tampering with the averages. Anyway, I've been at this for over 20 years and there's always one. I can't wait for the next offering.

Inconsistency

Warning: Spoilers
Eh. I'm not okay with Asher's arc. The dude was always on the outs of the K5, but loved them like family anyway... His loyalty was then bought when everything went down with Sinclair... so he didn't deserve a lame death like this. (Especially, watching on, knowing exactly how traitorous it was)

The show is getting ridiculous. Still watching for Frank's arms.

Amazing episode
mina202023 November 2019
This is the first time for me to write a review but this episode is just amazing !! I really had no idea that the events could develop to this ending .... I am assuming that we are going to take a long break till the next episode is aired but I have to say just woooow There are no many flash backs like previous seasons and episodes but the events development in this episode will make you wonder what will happen next. If you stopped this series for any reason I am definitely recommending that you continue watching, This season will blow your mind.

BUT HOW!!!!!HOW!!!!!! This show's insanity level has gone completely off the roof.Hands down the best episode of the show.I did not,in a million miles, see that ending coming. That death was completely uncalled for. This season as a whole was the slowest but after this episode there is no going back especially in it's final run.And OMG,I won't stop saying this,That ending is,well,WTF!!!!!

Nooooooooo
lukas-ingel22 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
//I understand that this is an unpopular opinion especially right now during the finale, and I don't want or wish to bring anyone's experience down. I used to be a HUGE fan, too, so I'm not here to change anyone's opinions - simply get my own one out so I can move on! Glad if you're enjoying the show.

  • Asher didn't deserve to end up being written like this. He has gotten ZERO story these last SEASONS, the biggest thing that happened in his arc besides constant rejection by Michaela and standing up to his family (apparently not) was going down on Connor's mom, and that says everything! He was the one to bring ease and light moments to the show...Now how are those moments gonna play out when you re-watch, knowing his fate? How is any of that going to be funny again in the same way? The dude died! As a traitor!
I'm going to be crude now, but I'm serious, and this show just can't have a good relationship between a black woman and a white male without it turning into preaches of different privileges and racism and what not. Sam, that awkward thing with Emmett Crawford, and now Asher. After getting to know him so well during his actual development the first 4 seasons, he would NOT go this route. It just doesn't make sense, not after all he's done to be with Michaela despite being treated the WORST... But you know what? After that, he was still 100% with them all. He's even admitted seasons ago to his responsibility in the murder he committed and showed clear gratefulness to the others, it's not like he's ever been second-guessing anything that happened that we've seen (the writers obviously forgot this), so again... It just doesn't make sense that he would betray them, and for such a bad reason like family members returning last minute. It just leaves a poor taste in my mouth to ignore a feel-good character for so long storywise and then end him like this. Wow.

  • We don't know how the Wes situation will unfold, so I won't comment on that, except please, don't let it really be him or a twin. We saw him die, even Connor confirming it checking his pulse in the house when he found him and broke his ribs, later with his death to be checked by Nate in the morgue when he was all burned (Nate's a cop, he's got have seen dead bodies before and can confirm a real one and not some dummy). And if it's a twin thing... It was used as a joke ever since he died! Remember his brother "West"? Well, if they do it, I'll honestly laugh, but maybe they did get creative.

Anyhow, this was my last watch. Been loving this show with so much passion, it's been my number 1 since I first started watching during season 2 airing, I still recommend to all people every chance I get 'cause that's how much I loved it and the characters, with all my heart. To see this happen, especially in the end, is painful. And so disappointing. I hope at least Annalise goes out with some dignity.
