Sex & Nudity

  • Candy Kong wears some slightly revealing clothing and flirts with Donkey Kong, but nothing overtly sexual is implied or shown.

Violence & Gore

  • Some standard fare cartoony violence. A few characters get punched and a few characters suffer cranial trauma that induces amnesia, but this is all played for laughs and isn't remotely realistic.

Profanity

  • A pirate named Kaptain Skurvy says the phrase (in relation to his great great grandfather) "may he rot in hell" but this is under his breath and hard to pick out. Several characters call each other names, but these are silly and or antiquated (eg "Bilge Rat" or "Knuckle-dragging Throwbacks")

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • none, although Donkey Kong is seemingly addicted to bananas

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • nothing overtly frightening. One segment of the movie features DK being frightened by the prospect of a 'bog monster', and his description of it is slightly unsettling. He later finds out that the bog monster was made up, but later, King K. Rool and his lackeys are implied to be attacked by one off screen, accompanied by some bestial roaring.
