Well-executed basic porn, Spanish style

FANTASIES OF A SEXOLOGIST harks back to the early days of XXX features: folks confessing their fantasies to a shrink-type character, and then vignettes illustrating same. Imported to America by Jill Kelly, it's a worthwhile feature thanks to a quality cast and arousing sexual situations.

Claudia Claire, constantly adjusting her glasses (she does have a brainy look) toplines as the sexologist, listening to not-so-kinky fantasies of her patients and then invariably suggesting they act them out -she even provides partners! Of course the sex is the thing here, and I found the very first segment the best, and most stimulating. David (Dries Breyne) has a recurring fantasy of being in his bathtub with an erection and serviced by a beautiful woman. Claire sends him to a special address and the stunning blonde Silvia Lancome arrives to get him off.

What's significant about this scene, and indicative of the film's overall quality, is attention to detail. Not only is it shot on film rather than video but Lancome is very attractively styled with black nylons which she keeps on throughout, even in the bathtub. She plays footsie with Dries' member and the scene escalates nicely to the desired conclusion.

Other segments feature dusky Jannet as Maya, who dreams of and gets a tantalizing lesbian tryst, with an oily massage & more from a lovely girl, making for mixed combo content. Threesomes dominate the rest of the movie, culminating in Claire predictably getting down at the finale for an orgy in her office -which is staged in unusual fashion in that she gets humped while all her patients watch, masturbating.

The team of anonymous director "Dave Densen" (doesn't sound too Spanish to me) and Alexandra Towers have fashioned quality porn, which stands out amongst a plethora of French imports. The U.S. DVD release is peculiar, in that its menu on-screen gives one a choice of either Italian or English dialog, when in fact it is Spanish, and you have to go either Espanol or dubbed-English, there being no subtitling option.
