Horrible. Horrible...

Oh, the horrors. I can't believe Mexican t.v. decided to make a series remake of "The Nanny".

The idea was not so bad but the execution turned to be a true disgrace. And I mean disgrace in the worst aspect.

The plot from each episode was terribly boring, poorly executed, but the worst thing about it were the terrible dialogs. I couldn't find a single joke to be at least half funny.

The acting was also a disaster. Lisset was the only good thing about the show and I bet it was painful for her to tell some of the unfunny jokes.

This show should remind Mexican producers that remakes of comedies from the 90's WON'T work in actual times. Ugh.

Such a Shame

Is kinda pathetic that TV Azteca, clearly unable to make something original, tried to repeat the glory of The Nanny,,, this is an abomination. Even Lisset has said it's an original product,,,DON'T BE FOOLED: is exactly the same scripts the original sitcom had 10 years ago, only with Mexican adaptation and worse acting. The characters don't have charisma or even personality, are totally a copy of the original ones,,, just change Fran Fine to "Francisca Robles",,, totally awful. I really tried to find something good, but really, there is nothing, so, this show became one more of the big mistakes of TV Azteca,, I f you enjoyed The Nanny with Fran Drescher, stay away from this show,,, well, really, no one must never see it.

It's not that bad

Warning: Spoilers
We have to remember that The Nanny success was so huge that many remakes in different countries were made, and obviously any of them could never reach not even close the quality of the original show, but this mexican adaptation was a decent attempt. The Lisset's interpretation was good, the cast in general terms was well chosen. Perhaps its main mistake was that it was over adapted and it lack of identity, the context of 90's New York is very distant from 2000's México City. If you watch it without comparing it with the original, I think you can enjoy it, I did it though I prefer the original version.
