Fairchild, Sirico chill with 'Sno'
The Sopranos co-star Tony Sirico and Morgan Fairchild have been tapped to star in the indie The Sno Cone Stand, Inc.
The project, from newcomer writer-director-producer Travis Knapp, is a Texas-based comedy about three stockbroker trainees who hate their jobs and self-absorbed boss Mr. Bob (Sirico) and try to get rich quick by launching a snow cone business.
Fairchild will play Mr. Bob's sales manager.
The movie, budgeted at $1.5 million, is produced by Slappy K-nappy. Arnie Reyes (Sticks & Stones) and Noel Tristan are co-producers. Filming is slated to begin Sept. 4 in Austin.
Sirico recently wrapped HBO's Sopranos, on which he played Paulie Walnuts.
Fairchild recently starred on MyNetworkTV's Fashion House.
Sirico and Fairchild are repped by Bob McGowan of McGowan Management. Fairchild also is repped by BRS talent agency.
